If you have never heard the music of Bill Staines the you are in for a special treat. For over thirty-five years, Bill has traveled North America, delighting audiences at festivals, folksong societies, colleges, concerts, clubs, and coffeehouses.
There is scarcely a folksinger in America whose repertoire doesn’t include his songs, folks like Peter, Paul, & Mary, Nanci Griffith, Mason Williams, The Highwaymen, Glenn Yarbrough, and others. His radio and television appearances have included A Prairie Home Companion, Mountain Stage, and a host of programs on PBS and network TV.
Staines has recorded twenty-two albums, and he has become one of the most popular singers on the folk music circuit today.
