For over 75 years the Sons of the Pioneers have been proud to perform the music of the American West, celebrating its magnificent landscape, people, culture, and the American Cowboy.  Their signature songs such as “Tumbling Tumbleweed,” “Cool Water,” and “Ghost Riders in the Sky” have become forever entwined into the very fabric of the West. They rightfully hold a legendary place in Americana.

Their high quality vocal performances, musicianship, and songwriting have inspired many of today’s Western music performers.  They have accumulated more honors and awards than anyone in Western music, including those from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, Western Music Association, National Cowboy Hall of Fame, and many others.  The group and their music has garnered millions of both national and international fans through appearances in over 90 movies, numerous radio shows, major label recording projects, and later, television appearances.

See these
“Icons of Western Music” as they embrace and honor the heritage of the West through song.
